My love for icons
I’m currently working on multiple projects, and would love to show them, but I can’t (yet). Instead, I’ll show you the icons I made for them.
I’m a huge fan of icons, and love designing them. I think an icon is design in its purest form. Try cramming an almost photo-realistic object in 16×16, and you’ll know what I’m talking about. Pixel-pushing to the max!!
And it’s not just one icon, it’s a whole collection! You have to make sure that each icons has the same visual weight as the next one (unless you really need one to pop out of the collection). I could go on for hours, but will spare you the boring stuff.

I love your style! They are simple & clean.
“C” is an other style, I see you’ve put a lot of effort in them and they are great though I don’t like the purple.
The car from client D is so funny!
They are awesome, I’m jealous actually :D Great job Tim!

I love the white icons (Client D).
I’m trying to make some icons for myself, and I’m shocked it was so hard..

Superb icons Tim, really love your work!!
Especially like D & E and can appreciate all the hard work that went into set C in particular. Really good job; would buy an icon set of yours in an instant! :)

Excellent work Tim, really love them all – especially like D & E.
On the couple of occasions I have tried, I’ve struggled to produce 2 or 3 when needed – not sure I could stretch to a whole set :)
I am indeed, inspired. Good work!

Tim. Solid work. How long did you find it took you to work out some of these groups of icons? I’ve been asked about icon work recently and am considering dabbling. Are these products of illustrator or fireworks or something else?

@Sam: You just gave me a brilliant idea :-)
@Matthew: It depends on a number of things:
Every collection you see here, took between 2 and 16 hours to design.
@everyone: Thanks for the kinds words, I’m flattered!
You can expect a follow-up post on this one!

Wow, I had no idea you were such a great icon designer, Tim! It’s a shame these are client projects, as it’d be great if you could release them.

Love them. Especially A, D and E. Let me know what you used to make them.
I really need to get started again with this kind of things.

Absolutely amazing work, Tim. :)
I love the style and neatness of icon sets for client D.
Good work! I would instantly buy them if they were available for sale. :)
